WiFi Control

Rain Sensor

Flow Sensor for Leak Detection
A Rain Bird flow sensor monitors the volume of water moving through your system in real time. If a zone suddenly draws more water than it should, such as from a broken head, a split lateral line, or a fitting that gave out over winter, the system flags the anomaly and shuts down the affected zone immediately.
Up to 16 zones are supported, covering everything from a modest residential lawn to a larger property with distinct planting areas, drip zones, and turf sections.
Two Ways to Use Your System
- Option 1: You're in Control. Preferred Landscape Services handles the full installation, including the controller, rain sensor, flow sensor, all wiring and configuration. Once it's done, the system is yours to manage through the Rain Bird app. You set the schedules, receive leak and flow alerts, and make adjustments as the seasons change. - Option 2: Let Us Handle Everything. We take ownership of your system from installation through every season of operation. Our licensed technicians program your initial schedule, adjust it as weather shifts from the dry stretches into the wet season, and fine-tune zone timing and sensor calibration throughout the year.
